MEET THE BLOGGER
Hello, fellow foodies & Explorers!
I’m Sara, a London Food Travel Blogger & voice behind Exploring The Food Scene
I’m an Italian-born, London-based food travel blogger who creates London and global food travel guides, focused on local culture and the places locals actually love, far from typical tourist spots.
All my guides are written from a hospitality professional perspective, so you can confidently skip tourist traps and focus on authentic experiences, while I handle the heavy lifting. I help you avoid wasting time on overrated places.
Years of experience in the hospitality industry have trained me to quickly recognise what’s worth your time, and what only looks good online.
Every recommendation is personally researched, experienced, and independently selected.
After studying tourism and hospitality, I moved to London in 2012.
Since then, I’ve built my career working with leading names such as the Savoy Grill, Shangri-La The Shard, Soho House, and Jason Atherton’s Michelin-starred restaurants, and I now work as a General Manager in Central London.
My background allows me to assess quality beyond reviews and recognise what truly delivers a great experience.
All my guides are designed to help you eat well, avoid disappointment, and experience destinations through their food and local culture, without wasting time or overplanning.
My Food Travel Blog & London Guides are my love language. I feel rewarded when I find a random place to eat that actually enhances my whole trip. I don’t get upset when things don’t go as planned, as something better is about to come.
Key Facts about me:

My Culinary Journey
Started in Ravenna, Italy, where, since I was a child, my mum would send me to our veggie garden to pick the ingredients to cook dinner. My grandma was the best at cakes. My father and grandpa would teach me about the different types of plants and explain their seasonality. Also, when September came, the family would gather to harvest our vineyard.
My father still does it.
In 2012, I moved to London, and I really wish I had become a London Food Travel Blogger back then, as I lost count of how many places I have eaten, finding amazing places, as well as terrible ones.
Moreover, throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of London’s most prestigious restaurants and hotels. Particularly from charming neighbourhood eateries to Michelin-starred dining rooms.
My favourite part was when we were making menu changes, and the team would gather with the chefs for the final presentation of the dishes and to taste them. I’ve honed my palate, sharpened my service expertise, and gained exclusive access to London’s best ingredients. This hands-on experience has given me insider knowledge, which I love sharing on my London Food Travel blog.

What makes My London Food Travel Blogger and Guides Unique?
My approach goes beyond recommending places to eat and Itineraries.
I help you decide what’s actually worth your time.
From where to eat to what to prioritise (and what to skip), everything is filtered through real experience.
My focus is on uncovering local, high-quality experiences, whether that’s a family-run spot, a neighbourhood favourite, or a refined dining room, and cutting through the noise of overrated hotspots.
Every recommendation is personally tested and evaluated through a hospitality industry lens, considering not just the food, but the full experience, consistency, and value.
Alongside food guides, I share practical travel tips and curated insights to help you navigate each destination with clarity and confidence, so you can focus on enjoying the experience rather than second-guessing your choices.
